Learning Content Writer / Project Support Specialist

Aurora, Illinois

We build learning experiences that move people — not just through content, but through stories, visuals, and moments that stick. From immersive eLearning modules to digital performance tools, our team combines creativity, strategy, and heart to help organizations bring their learning to life for their employees.

We’re looking for a curious, motivated writer who is as passionate about learning and development as we are. Our ideal candidate is someone who knows great writing, loves solving creative challenges, and wants to turn ideas into engaging learning experiences.

What You'll Do:

Bring Learning to Life Through Writing

  • Write content that connects — from scripts and stories to quizzes and on-the-job resources
  • Turn complex topics into clear, conversational, and meaningful learning
  • Adapt your writing style to each client’s voice and culture
  • Collaborate with teammates to brainstorm new ways to make learning more engaging and memorable

Grow Your Instructional Design Skills

  • Work alongside experienced teammates and subject matter experts to identify learning needs and goals
  • Help outline course structures, organize ideas, and shape learning journeys
  • Learn the “why” behind design decisions and gain experience with modern learning
  • Explore how storytelling, visuals, and interactivity can make learning stick

Support Projects & Clients

  • Be a key support player for our project and client teams
  • Take part in or lead client meetings — capturing notes, clarifying next steps, and following up on deliverables
  • Help keep projects organized and moving smoothly
  • Contribute to a positive, proactive client experience by being dependable and communicative

You’re Perfect for this Role if You Are:

  • A strong writer with a natural sense for clarity, tone, and flow
  • A curious learner who loves figuring out how things work
  • Organized, adaptable, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities
  • Confident communicating with teammates and clients alike
  • Open to feedback, collaboration, and trying new creative approaches
  • Someone who takes pride in producing polished, thoughtful work

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • A degree in English, Communication, Education, or a related field — or equivalent experience
  • Some experience writing in professional, creative, or academic settings
  • Interest in instructional design and adult learning principles
  • Most importantly: a willingness to learn, grow, and jump-in where needed
  • Instructional design experience is a plus, but not required
  • Project management experience is a plus, but not required

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • A supportive, close-knit team that values creativity, collaboration, and mentorship
  • Opportunities to learn directly from experienced designers, project managers, and media specialists
  • Exposure to a wide variety of industries and projects — no two days are the same
  • A culture that celebrates curiosity, innovation, and doing meaningful work that helps people grow
  • Opportunities to grow your career and expand your role
