Goodwill®U was designed with the objective to provide consistent training across the Goodwill movement and streamline the associate learning and development process. It more quickly increases both functional and soft skills and imparts confidence to perform all daily job tasks.

  • With the support of Goodwill®U, the percentage of Goodwill Manasota team members who are now certified as Role Model Workers (completing a 6 month core learning, functional training, and workforce development program) has increased from 24% to 47% since 2014. This increase is accomplished by the consistency, accessibility, and accountability that comes with using our Leaning Management System.

  • With the rise of certified Role Model Workers reaching 47%, Goodwill Manasota has been able to achieve an increase in Sales per Labor Hour from $37.69 to $43.53 since 2015.

  • Total annual retention for those who obtain a Role Mode Worker Certification at 83%, up from 40% for the company as a whole.

  • Tenure for a certified Role Model Worker team member is 5.7 years, while the tenure for a non-certified team member is only 2.1 years.

  • 90% of annual promotions are certified Role Model Workers.
